Players can go to the mission starting point either by driving or by walking overland or using parachute from a helicopter, towards their objectives. They can use different methods to complete their objectives through stealth, fight, or using short ranged or long ranged weapons available in the game. In the game players can also take down outposts. They can grab and take hold of enemies with one hand while using the other hand for shooting.

When players are not carrying out jobs, they can network, and put up sociable or aggressive relations with other AI and non-playable characters, such as the people, administrators or the rebels of the earth. These relations require planning, as relations also may impose some penalties, and alter how characters can get their plans.
