BattleTech Review, Story, Gameplay, Walkthrough & More:

We have added everything you want to know about Battletech including its review, gameplay, story, walkthrough & more you can find inside.

BattleTech is a turn-based strategy game developed by Harebrained Schemes and published by Paradox Interactive. It was released on PC Windows and OS X on April 24, 2018. The game is set to release for Linux as well. BattleTech shares a setting with the unique board game, now called "typical BattleTech".

BattleTech creators set aside $1 million to develop the game and also initiated Kickstarter campaign for the game to gather funding for extra features taking place in a single player mode that is an extension of the story campaign and hero vs hero multiplayer mode.

BattleTech Story:
The world of BattleTech is dominated by prevailing dignified houses locked in an overwhelming contest and the hero chooses one or several houses to serve. In the game, the character leads a squad of humanoid shaped vehicles known as mechs. The hero is responsible for choosing each mech’s prototype, weapons and abilities, and leads a squad of 4 mechs.

BattleTech Gameplay:

BattleTech is a turn based tactic game played from a top down perspective. Heroes assume the role of a chief ruling a “mech lance” or a squad of 4 dominant vehicles. The hero chooses every mech’s framework, the weapons and shield mounted on that frame in addition to slighter information such as actuators and gyros that control a mech’s spinning radius. The hero can also focus troops by picking skills from talent ranking. Unlike rest of the video game in the turn based tactic category, BattleTech may not have a cover system as the developers thought that the mechs’ huge size would make the cover improbable.

The Battletech squad consists of advanced lance of 4 mechs, from a little Commando scout mechs squad to the strong Atlas mechs squad.

The most amazing thing about Battletech gameplay is the dynamic camera views. You could zoom in and out with the mouse, spin the camera 360 degrees and also alter the pitch. The camera also focused the quantity of work that has obviously gone into producing the video game’s surroundings. A strategic video game is nothing without a better terrain and Battletech gameplay appears to be able of messing up gamers in all the right ways.

The very common drawback in Battletech is aiming individual mech sites that is not presently supported in this game. Hitting the mech’s legs or aiming the pilot’s canopy is a precious tactic in several iterations of the video game but Battletech does not support it.

MechWarrior 2 was one of the best 3D action video games in the 90s and MechCommander remains a favorite strategy video game amongst the gamers who consider it but this game takes the elements of both tactical games and is a refined tabletop tactical video game the fans have ever played on PC.

Know Your Enemy:

Once you make contact with opponent, try to know their capabilities. So that you can prioritize targets. The opponent unit composition can be hard to be judged at a distance but at close quarter it is easy to know about the opponent.
