Tekken 7 Review:

Tekken 7 is a fighting video game developed & published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Tekken 7 is the 9th edition in the Tekken series and the first game that uses the Unreal Engine.

In March, 2015 Tekken 7 exclusive arcade edition was distributed in Japan. In July, 2016 another modified arcade edition, Tekken 7: Fated Retribution was distributed & features expanded content including new levels, outfits & playable characters.

Tekken 7 was released on June 2, 2017 on PS4, PC Windows and Xbox One.

Tekken 7 Gameplay:

Tekken 7 gameplay focuses on 1 vs 1 fight. 2 new systems are added in Tekken 7. The primary feature is Rage Art, that lets character to perform critical attacks that deal almost 30% of the damage depending on the player once their health bar is critical, in exchange for inactivating the normal attack power increase. Another mechanic is known as Power Crush, it lets the character carry on their attacks even while being hit by the rival, although they will still lose health due to opponent’s hits. The bound mechanism, which staggers a player to provide opportunity for additional attacks, is replaced by Screw attack, which spins the opponent side wise when they are hit in the air.

Tekken 7 offers an online multiplayer mode that lets local and international players to play the game together. You can customize the characters, change their appearance & buy new clothes for them. You can practice new moves & perform several combos in practice mode before you enter the arcade mode. 

Tekken 7 Fated Retribution changes many features of the gameplay. The new "Rage Drive" lets the character to empower certain attacks by sacrificing their Rage Mode. Rage Art can also be adjusted so that the amount of damage dealt to the rival is inversely proportional to the character’s present health gauge.

Tekken 7 Story:

Tekken 7 story is darker than ever and it will provide the ending of the Mishima family story. The story is based on the Mishima family & disputes b/w Heihachi Mishima, his child, Kazuya Mishima and his grandson, Jin Kazama. Akuma is a guest player taken from the Street Fighter & he will play an important role in the Tekken 7 story.

40 years ago, Kazuya fights his father Heihachi but he is beaten by his father. Kazuya started fighting because his father killed his mother. Heihachi throws his son off the cliff.

Heihachi gain control once again on Mishima Zaibatsu after he defeats Nina & he initiates the King of Iron Fist tournament.

Tekken 7 Characters:

Tekken 7 contains 37 characters & 10 characters have made their debut including a guest player Akuma added from Street Fighter. Akuma is a brand new character introduced in the Tekken series, as he has been taking part in the Street Fighter series for over two decades. There is a returning character Eliza available via downloadable content, also you can get her as a pre-order bonus. An additional two fighters will also join the roster via the season pass.

  1. Tekken 7 would be a great game by the look of it. Combos seems a lot better than previous games.

  2. Tekken series is the best games collection i ever played since 2000. Tekken 3 was the first time i got taste of the Tekken series. i played Tekken 3, 5 & 6 a lot but Tekken 7 seems some what special
