A new addition to the action RPG video game that lets you control a hunter who seeks & encounters animals. Start your missions alone or with up to three other hunters in a newly designed online co-op multiplayer mode which allows cross-region cooperative play b/w Japan & the West, uniting the global player base never seen before. Monster Hunter World was released on PS4 & Xbox One on 26 January, 2018.

It is an action Role Playing video game that lets you play as a hunter, facing off against animals in splendid, lush surroundings.

You will be assigned missions to overcome wild animals in a variety of habitats. Kill these beasts & collect what they drop that can be used to make powerful weapons & armor. The upgraded model can be used to confront even more insecure beasts.

The latest addition to the series is full of strange animals that give you excitement in a new world packed with wonders.

Gameplay:

It will let you confront animals, progressively improving your skills as you play. Resources collected from opponents can be utilized to make new equipment & suit upgrades. You will use the environment to your advantage as you discover the strange world. 

Use the environment & animals to your advantage. Pit wild life against one another to lure the main target beast to the right place but you need to be careful.

When you feel difficulty while playing alone then your friends can join to help you during quests. It has an online multiplayer mode that lets three of your friends to catch up with you.

They can find the weak spots of rivals for extra damage. 

The game provides seamless gameplay that do not show loading screens when players travel from one map area to another.

It has a dynamic weather system that changes b/w day & night automatically.

Players can use Scoutflies as they will help them in navigation if they can’t discover the beasts & for discovering few objects, including drool & footprints.

You can interact with the fauna & flora in several ways. Some bugs can heal players when they just grab them. They can even capture certain species of fauna. Discover the new world by using not only their weapon & suit but the various flora, fauna & even the New World itself to their advantage.

You can learn different languages from Felyne clans out in the field. You can talk to small animals after learning the language they speak & make them your ally. These animals will clash alongside you.

Hunters get new cloak objects that can be worn for a certain period of time. Few of these cloaks can be used for stealth, allowing them to sneak up on a beast. Other cloaks can be used to attract beasts to a certain location.

Chillie Mantle will conceal players from rivals view for a short period of time. If they attack or take damage, the effect will end.

If players use Glider Mantle it will increase the air time when they jump & they are provided powers to ride strong winds. They have the ability to easily mount animals.

Rocksteady Mantle will eliminate damage reactions & it will prevent wind effects, protect players hearing & provides tremor resistance. The players will get less damage from antagonists' strikes.

Challenger Mantle will prompt animals to hit players more often & players can have no difficulty to lure. If players receive hit from an antagonist, this effect will end.

The Slinger is a new tool used by the players in various ways. They can fire a grapple hook using this tool & allow hunters to swing off & even pull on, items in addition to fire rocks & other objects at antagonists.

Players can switch weapons & armor by arriving at the Base Camp.

Players have the advantage to confront animals freely even if the mission is accomplished.

Animals can destroy objects in a region & alter the surroundings. Every big animal in a location owns a territory in a certain area.

Players can avoid encountering animals by hiding from them. They can escape certain animals without getting involved in confrontation.

A Wishlist is added in Monster Hunter World. Players can list tools pieces that they wish to craft & the Wishlist will show the tool’s material requirements & players can view them. Players will also get a notification when all of the material have been collected. Players can craft charms & upgrade those using materials.

Some suit have a unique ability that can be obtained by wearing sufficient pieces of the equipment set.

The Handler can make meals for the players at the Base Camp using food objects.

Monster Hunter World Story:

You arrive in the New World as a member of the Research Commission. In a land, you will start a new adventure.

You will be given an assignment to visit a newly discovered continent & gather data. You will find out that this new world holds several secrets that can be discovered.

You will start research on Elder Dragons that can affect the complete ecosystems. You will study why Elder Dragons are traveling to the New World every 10 years. While migrating to the New World, the team face Zorah Magdaros who is a big Elder Dragon having the size of a mountain. After you get rescued & arrive at the base camp, you will find out that Zorah is dying & is traveling to a big graveyard. You will now try to capture Zorah but you will not accomplish this mission due to resistance from Nergigante, an Elder Dragon that eats other Elder Dragons & he wants to eat Zorah. Zorah is now on its way to enter Everstream rather migrating to graveyard. Then the Expedition will study & find out that if Zorah dies within the Everstream, its released bio-energy will destroy the New World. You will now try to capture Zorah with your team & drive him to ocean where its released bio energy will develop a new aquatic ecosystem. Nergigante appears again but this he is driven off by your team & Zorah is finally driven to the sea.
