Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Review:

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom is a turn based tactical video game developed & published by Ubisoft. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom offer role playing elements & it is a crossover of Nintendo’s Mario & Ubisoft’s Rabbids. It provides both single player & co-op multiplayer mode. You will play as Mario, his buddies & a team of Rabbids.

The rabbids have accidentally misused a powerful device that has shattered the entire Mushroom Kingdom.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom was released on Nintendo Switch on 29 August 2017 & it was praised for its unique gameplay, graphics & soundtrack.

You can either play Mario + Rabbids Kingdom in single player or two gamers can play cooperatively. You will finish each level that contains series of fights to advance in the game’s tale. You can also explore the environment when you are not involved in fight but you cannot access certain regions until you crack a puzzle or you obtain new skill to access that area (like you are able to move blocks). You can also collect coins from the environment. You cannot jump in this game & use white warp pipes to get around b/w certain regions.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Gameplay:

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom features turn based combat that allow each group to take turn to move around the arena & take shots at a rival. During your turn, choose the hero that will move first & you can then target the rival who is in range. You can use cover to lessen the possibility of being hit by 50 percent while certain covers lessen it to zero plus damage taken. Both sides can use weapons & use special skills to help them in combat. They can use the skill to aid in defense or heal the characters that are injured. Your weapons can use special effects to slow down your enemies. You can use Ink, which makes the opponent unable to use their projectile or special weapon & Honey, which do not allow the target to move.

After you advance in the narrative, you will be able to enter Peach’s castle. There you can choose the heroes who will be in your team, buy new weapons, look at collectibles that you have found during the gameplay & revisit any world you accessed. The new weapons will be able to deal more damage & you can buy them when they become available using coins. You can also improve your skills through a skill tree, using skill points gained from finishing combats & unlocking various chests, upon reaching a certain level.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Story:

A girl, who is a fan of Mario franchise, invented a new device in the basement of her house known as SupaMerge helmet that can merge any two objects into one. She made this invention to solve energy crisis. The helmet has a problem of overheating when it merges a flower with a lamp. After leaving to take a lunch break, a team of rabbids entered her house basement using their Time Washing Machine, & one of them puts on the helmet & after having fun with it, the Rabbid strikes the Time Washing Machine & caused a break down which sucks up all the Rabbids & the girl’s belongings into a dimensional vortex.
