Final Fantasy 16 Review, Story, Gameplay, Release date, Main Characters, Setting, Combat System & More:

Final Fantasy 15 was a major hit since its release in November 2016. Final Fantasy 15 took too long in development but fans loved the game. Square Enix also released few expansion packs of Final Fantasy 15, new modes & a famous smartphone game. The royal edition of Final Fantasy 15 was released on Xbox One, PS4 & PC on 6 March, 2018.

Final Fantasy 15 popularity shows no signs of slowing but we don’t know what the upcoming game could bring as the game is in development. We have added everything we know about Final Fantasy 16 including game review, release date, main characters, setting, action, story & gameplay.

Final Fantasy 16 Review:

Square Enix has confirmed that they are working on a new edition of Final Fantasy. The game is likely to set up a new world filled with exciting characters & areas that you will like to explore as we have seen in Final Fantasy games.

Final Fantasy 16 Release date:

Square Enix has not announced any release date of Final Fantasy 16 but has confirmed that production of the game has already started. They said during Tokyo Games Show 2017 that development on Final Fantasy 15 will carry into 2018 with the PC release date & also content updates will come till the end of 2018.

Final Fantasy 16 Main Characters:

The upcoming game will include a bigger list of characters. The guys in Final Fantasy XV were very charming & they carried us through a long escapade. But they seemed to be incredibly lacking as compared to past games. We would expect to watch more characters in the upcoming game.

Final Fantasy 16 Setting:

When we dug the Final Fantasy 15 we found locations never meant to be explored in the final version & seemed like the developers had shorten the game due to time constraints. If Final Fantasy 16 comes out fully complete then it could become one of the most popular game for years.

Every Final Fantasy next game is bigger than the previous so we expect the upcoming game will be at least as big as the current title. We would like to see Final Fantasy 16 could benefit from a more expansive world with a different environment.

Final Fantasy 16 Combat System:

The game has come out of its turned based action & have become a real time action game that focuses on quick, dynamic contest over the ancient series of menus & time gauges. We expect that the developers will carry the action introduced in Final Fantasy 15 with more improvements & mechanical introductions. The mechanics in Final Fantasy 15 was comparatively scrappy & lacking but still it was fun.

We want to see the same mechanics but with refinements & more abilities, characters & methods of customization that will offer an incentive to grind side missions away from the main story. The dodgy camera of Final Fantasy 15 could be tweaked too since it was difficult to find the player under trees throughout the game.

Final Fantasy 16 Story & Gameplay:

Square Enix has a solid idea of the sort of Final Fantasy 16 story & mechanics that we will see later but they kept it secret till now. We can only guess what we would see in the upcoming game because nothing about the game story has been revealed so far. We can consider the massive departure that Final Fantasy 15 took from earlier games in the series, we can expect more action combat in the next game.

We can think that the mechanics will not be just the same. Even earlier games used turn based system but things were different from one release to another. We can point out the jump in Final Fantasy 10 to the new job system in Final Fantasy 10-2, or the jump from the auto action system in Final Fantasy 13 to the true action in the most famous Final Fantasy 15. From those previous game, we are pretty much confident that we will see some sort of iteration that is similar to the design of Final Fantasy 15 with the release of the next game.
