Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a fighting video game developed by Bandai Namco Studios & Sora Ltd. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is published by Nintendo & it is the 15th installment in the series & successor to Super Smash Bros. which was released for Nintendo 3DS & Wii U. 

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate vs  New Super Mario Bros. Ultimate Gameplay:

You can hit your opponents to knock them out of the arena. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate have several game modes including versus mode where you can battle against three more fighters that can be controlled by computer or other players. A smash mode is added that let up to eight players to fight alone or make a team & there are also various single player modes including practice & training where you can learn how to fight. In several modes, you are assigned fixed no. of lives at the start of a match & when you are knocked out, you can use one of the life & respawn quickly if there is at least one life left. If you lose all of your lives then you are out.

Each fighter is equipped with his own set of moves & skills in addition to a powerful final smash attack that most of the time affects all opponents on the field by activating a Smash Ball power up which appears on the field. Each character has been upgraded with new moves & skills, with many of them rebalanced depending upon feedback from players who played earlier games. At the start of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate some of the fighters are locked that needs to be unlocked first by completing various challenges. Unlocking all characters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate won’t be that hard as compared to earlier games.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate includes new power up items that are based on the included franchise properties which trigger unique effects to several or all characters. For example you can use launch star from Super Mario Galaxy which propel you when you pass through it to a different region. The game also adds both Assist Trophies & Poke Ball power ups which when activated by you can temporarily call non playable characters to help you in combat.

When you set up a match, you can choose a stage to battle on or allow Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to randomly select a stage. Each stage has its own configuration of platforms & environmental risks along with background music.

Super Mario Bros. Ultimate and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Characters:

All characters from Smash Bros. video game are added in this game even if they were included later in the DLC.

Pokémon Trainer:

You can play as a male or female pokemon trainer who possesses unique abilities.

Krystal:

Krystal will attack opponents with her staff & she can also use Ice Blast to freeze opponents.

Young Link:

Young Link returns after seventeen years & he is quicker than Link but he is also lighter which makes him easier to launch.

Falco:

Falco is a strong aerial fighter with awesome jumping skill but he is also slower on the ground.

Knuckles:

Knuckles uses his fists to attack nearby opponents. He can dig into the ground & then attack with an uppercut so do not underestimate him.

Sonic the Hedgehog:

Sonic can use his quick attacks to beat opponents. His Final Smash, Super Sonic, allows him to fly around the stage at a very high speed.

Donkey Kong:

Donkey Kong uses his charged punch which is a hard attack. In this game, his Final Smash has been modified from Konga Beat to a flurry of punches.

Pokémon: Lunala:

Lunala is a pokemon who shoots a strong light beam through the stage.

Pokémon: Solgaleo:

Solgaleo is a pokemon who can hit you as it charges back & forth across the stage that will cause high damage.

Sukapon:

Sukapon can grab his rivals & throw them while he can also use his fists to knock out opponents.

Snake:

Snake is back in the game & he returns with a ranged fighting style unlike other character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. His Final Smash locks onto a fighter & sends five homing rockets.

Corrin:

Corrin was included in earlier version of the game. The character can use all kinds of attacks like Torrential Roar & Dragon Fang Shot to beat adversaries. You can choose the gender as male or female.

Ice Climbers:


Ice Climbers have returned in the game after ten years & there are two of them who can fight against one opponent.

Link:

Link is customized to look like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. He can shoot arrows at opponent.

Mario:

Mario can use his diverse skills to fight in any situation. He makes his appearance in his Wedding tux & his Builder outfit & cappy is also available in the game.

Pokémon: Alolan Vulpix:

Alolan Vulpix can freeze opponents with icy breath.

Daisy:

Daisy move set is similar to Peach but she has her unique personality. She is famous for being upbeat & active.

Ridley:

Ridley uses his long tail & claws to unleash a destroying attacks.

Inkling:

Inkling can attack with a range of weapons. One of Inkling ability covers opponent with ink which causes even more damage.

Marth:

Marth is an outstanding fighter who has a long sword & he has the ability to attack using the tip of his blade.

Kirby:



Kirby possesses the ability to duplicate other characters which is very unique. Kirby is light & he can be launched easily & he can jump up to 5 times in the air.

Mega Man:

Mega Man’s moves use weapons which is taken from the bosses he has battled throughout the Mega Man series, so Mega Man has more projectiles than any other character.

Pit:

Pit is a balanced fighter with a defensive ability that nullifies long distance attacks.

Pichu:

Once again we are able to play with Pichu after 17 years. His electric attacks have more range & do greater damage than his other attacks but they damage Pichu too.

Bowser Jr:

Bowser Jr. receives less damage when he is in his Jr. Clown Car so try to stay in the car when you get damage.

Mii Fighter:

Select from 3 types of Mii Fighter, & you can choose from a list of 3 specials for each fighter. You also have the option to select one of 12 voice.

R.O.B.:

This fighter has 2 powerful projectiles including Robo Beam & Gyro, & it also has a very effective recovery.

Captain Falcon:

Captain Falcon is equipped with both speed & power. He is able to successfully land his neutral special, Falcon Punch & he is the one who can influence the fight when playing multiplayer.

Jigglypuff:

This fighter is capable to jump 5 times in the air & he is able to move quickly in the air than on the ground. Use his aerial skill to overwhelm your rival. If you are successful to land the down special Rest, then you can powerfully launch your adversary.

Wario:

Wario is equipped with unique attacks. He is able to jump higher than normal by leaping from his bike, which is useful when recovering. His final smash lets him transform into Wario Man & make clones of himself for an all-out attack.

Samus:

Samus can perform 3 projectiles to damage her adversaries from some distance. When she is completely charged up, her charge shot become more powerful. She can release a wide laser beam in her final smash that can be moved up & down.

Simon Belmont:

Simon Belmont can perform a smash attack which can damage opponent from distance.

King K. Rool:

King K. Rool can damage opponent from a long distance with his special moves like the Blunderbuss & counter moves like Stomach Attack which makes him a versatile character.

Richter:

Richter serves as Simon’s echo fighter. Richter has the same basic attacks like Simon’s but with little variations.

Chrom:

Chrom is a new playable character in Super Smash bros. Ultimate. He serves as an echo fighter of Roy. Chrom moveset is not much different from Roy. He shares moves with other Fire Emblem characters.

Dark Samus:

Dark Samus is a newcomer who serves as an echo fighter of Samus which means that it can perform the same moves as Samus but with subtle variations.

Villager:

Villager is a returning character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He uses the abilities from life in village for example he can perform attacks similar to planting, growing & cutting down trees.

Dark Pit:

Dark Pit is a returning fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He is an echo fighter for Pit which means that he can share the same skills as Pit but his weapons are different from Pit. His moveset looks the same as in previous game.

Duck Hunt:

Duck Hunt is a returning character. He can perform the same moves as in previous game.

Ness:


Ness is a returning fighter with same moveset as in earlier games. He can perform many moves including both long range attacks & short range attacks.

Peach:

Peach is a returning character & her moveset seems to be same as in earlier games. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Toad joins in to attack during her grab.

She can use her powerful kicks to damage her opponent while in the air. When she is on the ground, she can pick vegetables & throws them at rivals.

Wolf:

Wolf makes a comeback in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate after 10 years. His moves are quite similar to his moves from brawl but after watching the trailer we figured out that his moves are improved significantly.

Ike:

Ike is a returning character with same moveset as in previous game. The side smash attack of Ike is very powerful but after performing this attack, it leaves him open & his adversary has a chance to hit him so you must read your opponent’s move carefully.

King Dedede:

He is a returning fighter & his moves are similar to previous game. King Dedede has excellent recovery but he is not that quick. He was beaten by Kirby which inspired him to train harder.

Bowser:

Bowser is a good fighter & you can rely on him. Due to his power & weight, it is difficult for opponent to defeat him. He is a returning character with almost same moveset as in earlier games.

Toon Link:

Toom Link is smaller & quicker than Link. Toon Link is a returning character with same moveset & Final Smash as in previous game.

Ryu:

He is a returning fighter. He can perform the same moves as in previous game but there is a big modification made to his positioning. During one on one battle he will always face opponent, just like in a classic fighting game. This modification helps to reduce mis-inputs.

Isabelle:

Isabelle is a new playable character. She is a technical fighter but her moves are like the Villager. She is not an echo fighter but still shares many similar attacks with Villager.

Ganondorf:



He is a returning character with same moveset as in earlier games but his Smash attacks & Final Smash have changed.

Pikachu:

He is a returning character & his majority of moves are unchanged from the previous title, but his Final Smash is faster & more disorder.

Lucina:

Lucina is a returning fighter & she is an echo fighter of Marth. Her moveset is not much changed from Marth.

Lucario:

Lucario is a returning fighter & he can perform same moves as in previous title. He is the only character whose attack power increases as he takes damage.

Sheik:

Sheik is a returning character & she can perform same moves as in the previous game.

Fox:

He is a returning playable character. He can perform same moves as in the previous game, but he can now perform a different Final Smash.
