Control Review:

Control is an action / adventure video game playable from third person perspective. Control is developed by Remedy Entertainment & published by 505 Games.

Control will use time bending abilities & Remedy Entertainment’s last game Quantum Break also had this feature. You will control a woman named Jesse who has supernatural powers & she becomes a new director of the Bureau of Control. She fights against the supernatural rivals. The game is set primarily in the Oldest House which looks a normal building from outside but its interior is very large. You can use a pistol which changes its shape & you can upgrade your weapon.

Control Gameplay:

In Control you will battle against rivals using a new weapon that can change its shape. Upgrade the weapon to increase its combat efficiency. Also use supernatural & telekinetic skills. Use debris to form a shield for your protection & hurl objects towards rivals. Pick up objects of power by finishing side missions or exploring the game’s world. These objects can be used to unlock new abilities.

During the trailer we saw Jesse working through a strange maze & she has control over gravity & can float through the air. She also possesses time bending abilities.

The developers said that Control will be their first multiplayer console video game. The game seems odd with bodies floating in the air & bizarre zombified agents attacking you. The game has nice art designs, with good use of color to juxtapose against the dull grey of the office building you are inside.

The gameplay of Control looks similar to Quantum Break.

Control Setting:

Control is set primarily within the Oldest House & it acts as the headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control, a government organization working secretly in dealing with supernatural phenomena. The FBC’s mission is to investigate & if possible seize control of supernatural elements & manipulate them for their own purposes. The topography of the House is constantly shifting & its interior is very large than its exterior.

Control Story:

You will control a woman named Jesse. Jesse has supernatural powers. She is seeking answers, a search which finally leads her to the FBC. After a secretive agency is invaded by a evil force known as the Hiss, Jesse becomes the new Director of the Federal Bureau of Control & she is struggling to regain control. She needs to find her way through the ever shifting halls of the House so that she can beat Hiss & discover the answers she is looking for.

Explore different environments & shifting architecture in a deep changeable world, set within a sprawling New York building. 

Remedy Entertainment:

Remedy also worked on Quantum Break. It worked with Xbox in the past but now it is in partnership with 505 Games.
