Dead or Alive 6 Gameplay:

Fighting in this game depends on a triangle system which is based on the following rule: strikes beat throws, throws beat holds & holds beat strikes. When you perform an attack of one type that beats another type for example performing a strike when an opponent tries to throw then that attack becomes a Hi Counter attack & damages the opponent even more.

New System:

Break Gauge:

The Break Gauge is introduced in Dead or Alive 6. It charges with every attack that you perform or receive & even blocking adversary’s attack fills the meter. Once this meter is full then you can perform either the Break Blow, a flashy & even stronger special attack, or the Break Hold, a useful counter attack that causes low damage but it can be useful against high, low & mid attacks. You can perform both attacks with a special button. If you want to perform Break Blow then you need to press forward simultaneously or you can perform the Break Hold by pressing backward.

Fatal Rush:

It is easy to perform & after you tap the correct buttons, you can perform four neatly animated punches & kicks.
