Hand of Fate 2 is a dungeon crawler developed & published by Defiant Development. The game is set in a dark fantasy world. Play Hand of Fate 2 where every level of the adventure is drawn from a deck of legendary encounters chosen by player. Players have to select wisely as their rival, the mysterious dealer, will pull no punches as he shapes players into the instrument of his revenge.

Hand of Fate 2 Gameplay:

The game is played from third person perspective & is just like its previous installment which joins deck building collectible card games, table top role playing. Players have to set collectively a deck of cards laid out on the table like a dungeon displaying marvelous encounters & magical gear which get folded in with the merchant’s cards.

As the player make a move, the cards flip over, either displaying a battle, a dare or a continuation of a story tale. If the player departs in battle then it is shown on the card as the view files into the card. If players complete a dare it can unlock additional cards. If players fail to complete a dare they have to restart the dare. Gamer progress in the game depends on the size of the deck & the additional unlocked cards.

Hand of Fate is a different deck-building card adventure & action RPG that was one of the best games of 2015. Hand of Fate 2 is much better than the previous release.

The dealer guides the players through the table top escapade, flipping cards to determine the problems & events that players will face. An overturned card may reveal something better for example a good merchant selling food & supplies. Or it may reveal something dangerous for example players will be sent to fight hordes of enemies. When players advance through the game story, there will be new cards that will be added to their deck. The cards will let them further influence the encounters & equipment they will stumble upon during missions.

Hand of Fate’s quests were a series of 13 dungeons, randomly generated using cards in the players’ & dealer’s hand. The objective was just the same, players had to make it to the end of dungeon & defeat the boss.

Hand of Fate 2 consists of 22 quests, called challenges. These challenges set different targets & conditions for winnings.

The series moved from increasingly hard dungeons to a collection of varying challenges which is a big improvement. Players can overcome many challenges in any order they want. During the deck building phase before the mission begins, players are told which rivals & obstacles to expect, allowing them to stack their decks with cards to better overcome those encounters. If players departs during challenge, they are allowed to move on to the next challenge rather than beating their heads against the same one over & over again.

Hand of Fate 2 Story:

Playable character in this game is aided by AI friends unlike Hand of Fate 1 that featured a solitary character. AI friends are additional fighters and also have their own story tales & encounter cards & ways to smash the regulations on the tabletop.

The dealer has clawed his way back beyond the 13 gates to seek his revenge. The table has changed but the risks remain the same, either you will live or departs.

Hand of Fate 1 was about exploring a world of dark fantasy built from collectible cards distributed by a strange dealer in a board game. Each overturned card reveals a new trial: third person battle, high risk high reward mini games or Tabletop RPG style decision making.

The cards will decide the players’ fate.

Hand of Fate 2 was released on PC Windows, PS4 & Xbox One on 7 November, 2017. Hand of Fate 2 was released on Nintendo Switch on 17 July, 2018.
