The Untold Story is a biographical movie based on life of an Indian Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Movie was released on September 30, 2016 and features Sushant Singh Rajput as Dhoni. The Untold Story emerged as a box office hit in Indian market. This movie is a tribute to Dhoni, who started his journey from street cricket and become most successful India cricket captain in all formats. Every cricket fan knows Dhoni but no one knows his journey. No one would have even imagined a ticket collector would one day become a trophy collector.

Movie is bit long but it is still fun to watch with family especially if you are cricket and M.S. Dhoni fan. Motive of movie is to follow your passion and aim for something that you want to be. Once goal is set then try your level best to achieve the goal. Movie also tells about controversies surrounding the Cricket Board and questions raised at Dhoni's captaincy. Ups and downs is part of life and Dhoni had to go through the same as like any other human. It is a journey a man against the odds who brought glory to India.

Movie collected over 62 crore Indian Rupee (USD $ 9.2 million) in first three days of release in India and it collect over 65 crore Indian Rupee (USD $9.7 million) from overseas media.
