Call of Cthulhu is inspired by Chaosium’s classic Pen & Paper. Call of Cthulhu features role playing elements & the game is full of mystery & horror. In Call of Cthulhu, you control a private investigator to find out the mystery behind the death of Hawkins family.

Edward was involved in a Great War that puts stress on his mind so how long he is going to survive the horrors because he is already in a fragile mental state. You need to avoid fights if you want to survive on this island. It is your job to save Edward from dangers but there are certain truths that only exposes to a mind that allows them.

Call of Cthulhu features investigation & the game is set in the Lovercraft Universe. You are a leader of a small squad of investigators that are sent across the island to solve various cases. Upgrade your skills & use new abilities to find out the truth. Call of Cthulhu offers a dialogue tree with meaningful decisions that influence the game story & relationships with your allies. Control Edward & find out the truth behind Sarah Hawkins death, while survive in a world of horrors filled with evils waiting in the dark. Call of Cthulhu features role playing elements & it is developed using Unreal Engine 4.


Call of Cthulhu Gameplay:

You must investigate, talk to people living on the island, face deadly horrors & search for cryptic clues, to reveal the secret behind the death of the Hawkins family.

Investigation can be done in several ways. You can speak to NPCs to find out their secrets or search around on your own. A friend can offer you a much needed distraction or tell you important information such as a new path to progress through the gameplay. Edward cannot fight so you have to figure out how to solve your problems & don’t put yourself in trouble.

You can use character points to upgrade your skills. High skills will make you a better detective. You can put points into Strength, Investigation, Eloquence, Medicine, Occultism, Spot Hidden & Psychology to make your job easier.

If you do not put points into eloquence, then you might have tough luck getting what you want from the bartender. It would not be easy to discover hidden items if you do not put enough points in spot hidden skill.

During gameplay you will find out that Edward will have nightmarish visions, & as his experiences began wielder he started to have panic attacks.

The reconstruction mode in Call of Cthulhu is a more straightforward means of video game detective work. You can walk around a scene to discover the hidden clues, which reveals a sort of spiritual manifestation of what occurred. The clues offer more information.

Call of Cthulhu is set in 1924 & it is centered around a private investigator named Edward Pierce who visits an isolated Darkwater Island to find the truth about the death of the Hawkins family. Police carried out investigation but they could not find the reason behind the death. Edward is sent into a scary island of conspiracies, cultists & horrors.


Call of Cthulhu One Hour Gameplay Demo:

Cyanide released a one-hour gameplay of Call of Cthulhu which is a Lovecraft inspired horror RPG. The game is focused more on detective work rather than combat. Your job is to search for clues, interrogate NPCs, solve crime scenes while you can watch some of these aspects in the gameplay demo.

You can find lots of information in the gameplay demo which was uploaded by Focus Home Interactive & you can see slower paced exploration & investigatory action in this video.
