Differences in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC Characters vs Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Original Characters:

Nintendo added 2 new characters to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The characters include Ken from Street Fighter & Incineroar from Pokemon. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster now includes 74 playable characters. This is the full roster of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate & no more characters will be added in this roster but new characters will be included after the game release.

Ken:

Ken will act as an echo fighter for Ryu which means his fighting style & move set will resemble Ryu but more information reveals that he will be faster. He will possess unique attack animations reminiscent of his moves in Street Fighter series. He will also use 2 super attacks. The first attack, Shinryuken, is a spinning upper cut that targets the center of the stage & the second attack, Shippu Jinraikyaku, will initiate whenever gamer unleashes the smash attack while next to an adversary.

Incineroar:

Incineroar will focus mainly on his wrestling style gameplay which includes grabs & throws as moves. He also poses for the audience after each successful move. However, you can cancel these animations to keep the flow of combat going. Being a wrestler, most of his attacks will be higher risk, higher reward, needing patience.

Piranha Plant:

Pre-order Super Smash Bros. Ultimate b/w 1 November, 2018 to 31 January, 2019 to receive a download code of a special Piranha plant fighter. Piranha plant will be available as a playable character in February, 2019.

You can buy a Fighters pass that contains 5 individual expansion packs, & a bonus Mii costume based on Rex from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for $24.99. All expansions will release in a year or more.
