Epic Store new refund policy is about refunding game & DLC:

Epic Store is going in the right direction, & attracting developers & fans with its new policy that is identical to steam. Epic is still working on to develop itself & some of the core features are missing from the store but Epic is working on to fill in the blanks & its new refund policy proves it.

According to new refund policy from Epic Store, gamers can refund any game they bought within 14 days & played it for less than 2 hours. You can also cancel a pre-order & you will receive complete refund or refund a pre-ordered game within 14 days of its launch but you shouldn’t have played it for over 2 hours.

However, the refund policy from Epic is identical to refund policy of Steam. The policy of refunding DLC is as follows: If you get a refund for a game, you can get a refund for all in-app & DLCs you bought from Epic for that game. I don’t know what will be the rules if you want to return only the DLC but not the complete game you purchased it for.

Epic Store also lets fans know about discounts. If a game gets cheaper or goes on sale shortly after you purchase it then you can refund that game for a complete refund & quickly re-order that game but you can only refund within 2 weeks & you should not have played that game for over 2 hours.
