The Mage’s Tale is a first person virtual reality dungeon crawler RPG developed & published by inXile Entertainment in collaboration with Oculus VR.

The gameplay of The Mage’s Tale is focused on exploring subterranean passages, solving puzzles, & battling adversaries. You can use the shield to block incoming attacks & throw spells at your opponents.

The Mage’s Tale allows you to control a mage. You can use magic & explore the world, & you can craft spell & fight against multiple types of creatures - & you can experience everything in first person using VR.

You can gather mystic ingredients, which can be used to craft custom spells in your Mage’s workshop.

The Mage's Tale needs VR headset. It lets you solve puzzles, explore environment & fight enemies. Players can use shield to stop incoming attacks & throw spells at rivals. The game puts you in the shoes of a Mage. The most dominant skill you have is magic because you can cast spells at your rivals. Also you can learn new spells & battle against different types of enemies & watch everything from first person perspective.

I think The Mage's Tale is a wonderful VR game & would recommend it to those who like adventure & combat.
