Fortnite uses ping system that works similar to Apex Legends:
The most important feature added
in Fortnite update is the ping system. Fans like the ping system in Apex
Legends & Epic Games made its own simple communication system that allows
team mates to communicate with each other without talking. It is a mechanic
that lets players to mark locations, adversaries, & items on the map.
Epic Games released Fortnite’s season 8 which contains map updates such as fresh locations,
along with another mode of transportation – volcano vents. The most surprising
addition in the game is a ping system which will look familiar to those who have played Apex Legends.
If you want to use the ping
system in Fortnite, you need to check your settings on the device you are
playing Fortnite. When you are viewing at your settings, search for “Place
Marker” & that is how you can use the new mechanic.
If you want to convey a message
about a location, you need to press the button once. If you want to ping a opponent, quickly hit the marker button twice. Also if you wish to ping a weapon
for a teammate, then you need to put your cursor on the item & hit the
Place Marker button once.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 Release Date Is Announced:
The first season of Fortnite Chapter 2 is about to end so Epic has announced the starting date of Chapter 2. Fortnite Chapter 2 will launch on 20 February but this date can change because the game is expected to launch on this date.
Epic said that it will reveal new Overtime challenges, along with a 2-week event to keep gamers busy in the waning days of Season One. No details have been shared yet, but it will be available soon.
