The Messenger is a side scrolling
action platformer video game that is heavily inspired by the classic Ninja
Gaiden series.

The Messenger Story:
Dark forces besieges young ninja’s
village. So the young Ninja goes to a world in order to deliver a scroll
vital for the survival of his clan. The game features thrilling time-traveling journey.
The game initially is a linear
level based adventure that is split across two time frames. The past time era,
that uses 8-bit graphics & audio presentation & the future time era,
that is presented with 16-bit.
The Messenger Gameplay:
In the game player takes control of
a ninja known as "The Messenger" as the ninja goes on a journey in
order to deliver a scroll. The ninja initially can perform an extra jump in
mid-air after attacking an opponent or any other object. As ninja progresses
through the course of the game, ninja gets new abilities such as wall climbing,
flips off platforms & walls, long-ranged shuriken attacks, gliding in the
air & using a grappling hook in order to propel himself through opponents &
obstacles. Player can also get
upgrades such as health bonuses.
In the game player visits all the
classic biomes that includes the swamp, the volcanic caverns & the ice
kingdom.
The Messenger Release Date:
The Messenger is released on PC
& Nintendo Switch on 30 August 2018. The game is released on PS4 on 19
March 2019. The Messenger is set to release on Xbox One in 2019.
