Next Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds video game is announced. A new studio named Striking Distance is working on it.

Little is revealed about the upcoming game because it is in early stages of development.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds publisher revealed the development of the next version of the PUBG but no title is confirmed.

Striking Distance has appointed Glen Schofield who created popular games such as ex-Call of Duty & Dead Space.

Striking Distance wrote on Twitter that the next game is not a sequel to PUBG.

PUBG Corporation’s press release said that the next version is an original story experience set within the PUBG universe.

Striking Distance said, “As a creative, the freedom to explore the PUBG universe has me excited about the possibilities, which I view as beyond the battle royale genre.”

Striking Distance is a new PUBG studio headed by Glen Schofield.
