PUBG consoles update adds a new feature that is also available in Apex Legends:
For the first time since release,
the console versions of PUBG got an update that is not available on PC version.
An auto equipment attachments feature is added to both PS4 & Xbox One
versions of PUBG that is very similar to Apex Legends.
The auto equip attachment can
make looting more efficient. If the time to equip an attachment is reduced,
then we can get more time to focus on the strategic part of the game but we can
still have fun with the realistic feel the game is popular for.
Automatically equipping
attachments have 3 options: Auto Equip attachments, auto equip scope, &
auto replace attachments. All of them can be enabled or disabled.
When you enable this feature,
auto equip attachments add any attachment automatically you pick up to your
equipped weapons, if the attachment fits. The game will initially attempt to
install any part you pick up to 1st primary weapon, then 2nd primary
weapon, then to sidearm. Items that you cannot equip will be sent into your
inventory. Auto Equip Scope uses the same structure but it just applies to
weapon scopes. Lastly, enabling Auto Replace Attachments transfers all
applicable attachments from weapons you drop to the weapons you pick up, so
there is no need to unattach everything before picking a new weapon.
