Comparison, similarities & changes of Beholder 2 vs Beholder video game:

Beholder 2 provides different gameplay elements & the narrative of this game is immersive. However, at times the game is very simple.

Graphics:

Beholder 2 offers gritty & colorless art which looks just the same as original Beholder, but it is improved in multiple ways. You can enjoy smoother animations & the graphical elements seem better than the previous game. Enjoy more complex backgrounds & non playable characters are further diverse & have been upgraded.

Audio:

The musical tracks of this game is very similar to the original game. If you did not enjoy the first game’s music, then most probably you won’t like the music of Beholder 2 too. The game does not include any real voice acting.

Story & Gameplay:

Beholder 2 is changed when compared to Beholder but it does copy the good elements from the original game. Beholder 2 has a solid narrative, & the game includes many side missions too. Some players might feel that the gameplay is rather too simple, however, other features of the game has plenty of depth that thoroughly entertain gamers.

Beholder 2 and Beholder Story:

The game is about ethical question related to one’s wish to sit on the PM chair by employing dishonest stratagem or move up the career ladder through hard work & professional competence.

You are a newly recruited officer in an authoritative government service with choices to work hard & be promoted on pure merit or you desire to employ dishonest means for accelerated promotion. In which case you will be superseding your senior officers. The choice is yours.

Beholder 2 vs Beholder Gameplay:

Beholder 2 is an adventure game. The game takes place in a land where its inhabitants have to work according to the wishes of the authoritarian government. Players work at the government ministry. Players’ actions will decide whether their co-workers perform their job attentively or they can sacrifice co-workers' positions in order to achieve their personal self-centered goals.

The most important aspect of the game is to observe the action from the side perspective. Players have to observe their coworkers, eavesdrop on them & when their co-workers leave, then they find it a perfect time to go through their stuff in order to find evidence that may be of some use to them.

Once players find some personal information of a co-worker, then it is up to them to determine how that information can be used. Players can blackmail their co-worker by giving him/her a letter with all the evidence attached. Then players can enjoy sitting back & observe the tragic consequences of their actions & the manner in which it has affected the victim. The other option can be to keep the personal information of a co-worker & help him/her to get through difficult times. Players have to be careful because if their supervisors find out about such thing, they can be punished in different ways.

The game’s story depends on the decisions taken by the player.

In my comparison of Beholder 2 vs Beholder, I have discussed similarities & differences of both games, & based on that I think Beholder 2 is much improved in gameplay & graphics as compared to Beholder.
