Obakeidoro Review:

It will put you in a game of mouse & cat, & it is up to you whether you choose to be mouse or cat. The concept is very simple; mouse will escape & cat will chase it. You will be asked to choose whether you want to become a human player or ghost.

Obakeidoro Plot:

There will be 3 humans’ characters & 1 ghost. The ghost will have 3 minutes to capture all humans. If ghost is not successful in capturing all humans within limited time, then humans will win.

Obakeidoro Gameplay:

Up to 4 players can play this game which will put them in 2 teams. 1 player is placed on the Ghost squad, who need to capture all the players on the human squad.

The ghost is able to cross trees & walls, but when he will catch a human & place them in prison, there will not be enough time to capture another human player.

However, human players can use a lantern once which can stun ghost. The lantern can be reused if human player is freed from prison.

Obakeidoro Gameplay Rules:

  • You will need to select whether you want to become a ghost or human.
  • There will be just 1 player in ghost team & 3 players in human team.
  • You can run around & hide, which will let you avoid being caught.
  • Being a ghost is very simple because you won’t follow any rules. The game allows ghost to hide inside objects & pop out to scare kids.
  • The ghost will win if he captures all 3 human players in 3 minutes.
  • The humans will win if ghost is unable to catch them within limited time.
  • Ghost can jump on top of the trees to trap human player or can cross walls for surprising them.
  • Ghost is quick & dangerous so the kids can use something to stop ghost for a short period of time.
  • Those who are running away from ghost can use light based trap to stun the opponent & get more time to free humans or escape ghost.
  • The remaining kids can free those captured by ghost.
