This game will let you find clues, present evidence & discover environment to reveal the truth of this 15-year-old mystery. It allows you to switch from illustration mode to the newly added live action mode which will let you realistically experience the complete narrative. Max mode allows you to interact with the people in the game. Your choices will let you watch 1 of 5 different endings. The game is extended with a new epilogue for each of the endings available.



Root Letter: Last Answer Story:

You will take the role of over 30-year-old man, who finds out long forgotten letters which he had exchanged 15 years ago with his friend Aya. The contact was broken soon after her last letter in which she disclosed that she had eliminated a man & had to repent. Even 15 years had gone since her last letter but still the hero wants to solve this mystery. In search of Aya, he tries to discover friends from the school mentioned by Aya, hoping that they will tell him the address of Aya. He soon discovers that Aya lied to him because a friend of Aya died in home fire 10 years before she made her first contact with him. You can watch 1 of 5 endings based on the choices you make in this game.

Root Letter: Last Answer is a visual novel which contains adventure. You need to find out what happened to the girl Aya with whom you exchanged letters 15 years ago & her final letter was disturbing & then suddenly you lost contact with her. Root Letter: Last Answer gameplay is divided into 2 different parts, where you will interrogate people who knew Aya to know more about her, & there is simulation part, where you will recall & plays through previous interactions with the girl.
