The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is a horror adventure game.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Story:

In the year 1973, a paranormal investigator named as Paul Prospero gets a letter from twelve years old boy named as Ethan Carter, asking him to travel to Ethan's hometown. When Paul reaches the town, he is told that Ethan is missing. 

As Paul starts to investigate, he slowly starts to learn about Ethan’s family dark secret. Ethan had released a spirit named as the Sleeper through witchcraft & now the spirit threatens their very lives. Paul has to do something as the clock is ticking & has to unfold the mystery affecting the victims before it is too late.   

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Gameplay:

The game takes place in an open world environment. So player can explore & can roam around freely.

The important task in the game is to piece together the story. Player has to know how Carter family members died & under what circumstances. After discovering a dead body, the player can use his unique paranormal skills to reconstruct the events that had happened, firstly player has to know where crucial items are placed & recreate the events that has happened & then reconstruct the timeline of events leading to a particular death.

The game includes additional stories that need to be completed in order to get the game’s final ending. Some of the stories are based on puzzles, other stories are like a stealth game.
