Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Review:
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is
developed & published by Night Dive Studios. Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is a
remake of the original dinosaur game released in 90’s.
Turok 2 Improvements:
Turok 2 remastered is improved as
compared to the original game including graphical changes, interface, gameplay
mechanics & there are more changes visible in the remake version of the
game.
It is a first person shooter
which allows you to discover 6 maps & face 35 different types of adversaries.
You can equip from 20 types of available weapons & ride a dinosaur.
The remake version includes a new
interface & upgraded movement mechanics which lets the playable character
move quickly. The movement of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is more fluid. You are
able to climb on some platforms.
The adversaries have upgraded artificial
intelligence. They are able to attack in teams, use covers, & escape if needed.
A damage system for opponents is available, meaning the damage they receive is
based on the part of their bodies we hit. There is an option of Quicksave as
well as the possibility of teleporting to the previously visited locations.
There is a multiplayer option
available in Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. There is a new mode called Last Turok
Standing, where the final surviving player wins. The multiplayer mode of the
game can be played online, or using local area network, or locally using split
screen.
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Gameplay:
Play this game as Turok &
carry unlimited no. of weapons. Your health will deplete when opponent hits
you. If it reduces to zero, you will lose 1 life force point (LFP) & need
to start from the latest checkpoint. If you lose all LFP, then you will see a
game over screen. There are weapon rounds & resources available that can be
collected.
There are multiple objectives within
each level that you must complete. All of the 6 levels are interconnected via a
hub area. The in-game objectives will let you destroy objects & free
prisoners, beat adversaries & complete other tasks. When you are about to end a
level then you are assigned a task to save a totem or beat a boss or complete
both tasks. The first 3 levels can be completed after saving a totem, the 4th
& 5th level of the game can be finished after saving a totem
& beating a boss, & the final level can be finished after beating a
boss. There is an automap which helps you navigate through the game levels.

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is released on Nintendo Switch on 9 August 2019. This game is also available on PC & Xbox One.
