Fire Emblem: Three Houses will give you an opportunity at the very beginning to choose 1 of 3 houses. This decision will shape the story of the game. It is very important to fully understand the pros & cons of each house.

All houses have strengths & weaknesses. In this post we are going to tell you about the advantages & disadvantages of every house.

The Black Eagles:

You can find mostly magicians in Black Eagles but there are not many dedicated mounted & defensive units in this house.

The Black Eagles are best at casting spells, because their units have variety in attacks, such as thunder, fire & wind. Also mages can heal. If you want more options in attacks, then choose The Black Eagles.

The Blue Lions:

You will find many cavalry oriented heroes in The Blue Lions house, but they are not expert in providing long range attacks.

Blue Lions’ units wield lance & they are expert at close quarter combat & they can deal high damage when enemies are in hitting range. Those who like to face head on enemies can choose The Blue Lions.

The Golden Deer:

You can find many archers in The Golden Deer house & they can learn new abilities after training them but they are weak when closer to enemies.

Archers are weak at close quarter combat & they can deal more damage when they are away from enemies. Those who don’t want to mix up with enemy units & want to finish them off without taking serious damage can rely on The Golden Deer.
