NHL 21 local (couch) co-op, same screen / split-screen and online co-operative multiplayer mode:

NHL 20 is a ice hockey simulator & the twenty-ninth installment in the NHL gaming series. NHL 21 features a comprehensive multiplayer mode for 12 players. You can enjoy a variety of multiplayer modes from online to offline modes. NHL 20 features internet co-op (online), & split screen & common screen co-op (local) multiplayer. This is a huge upgrade & as compared to modern games, NHL 20 has a plus point by offering a variety of multiplayer modes for both online & offline gamers.

 

NHL 21 and NHL Platforms:

Both NHL 21 & NHL 20 are launched on PS4 & Xbox One consoles. NHL 21 is not releasing on PS5 & Xbox Series X. But you can play NHL 21 on next-gen consoles via backward compatibility.

NHL 20 Gameplay:

Commentary:

EA Sports commentary team & broadcast package is included in the game that features James Cybulski as the main commentator & Ray Ferraro as color commentator. For certain games, these two are also joined by Drake & others celebrities.

Game Modes:

Enjoy playing solo & take part in tournaments & league matches. Along with single player gameplay you can also take part in multiplayer gameplay. The game also includes indoor & outdoor matches.

Career Mode:

This is the main mode of the game in which you can select a single player or a whole team. In this mode you can also play tournaments & take part in individual competitions.

HUT Squad Battles:

The game mode includes weekly teams, created by athletes & artists, to achieve extra ordinary rewards.  

Coaching Carousel Mode:

Want to be a manager? If yes. Then go & supervise 8 unique coaches, four coaches from the NHL league & four coaches from the AHL. Your objective is to organize their work in order to attain the best results.

Eliminator Mode:

The game has some elements similar to the battle royale genre. Compete against 81 other players. In order to progress to the next stages, you have to win. After the first defeat you have to start again.

Cover Star:

The game features Auston Matthews as the main cover star. Elias Pettersson is the cover star for the Swedish edition & Patrik Laine is the cover star of the Finnish edition.
