Sea of Thieves has pets, new emotes & ship costumes

The Pirate Emporium is set to be launched this week which will let you buy pets with real money:

The Pirate Emporium will allow you to purchase pets, new emotes & cosmetics for your ship. The Pirate Emporium is going to launch. A new currency will be used in the game called Ancient Coins. You will be able to buy this currency with real money. The new currency will be used to purchase cosmetics, new emotes, & pets.

The first release of the Pirate Emporium will allow you to buy 2 types of pets: parrots & monkeys. They will accompany you during this adventure & you can name them.

The pets you will have will react to the emotes for example when you play an instrument then they will start dancing. Also when your ship is attacked, the monkey will hide & will not come out until the danger has passed.

2 types of parrots will be available when The Pirate Emporium releases such as the Macaw & the Parakeet. 2 types of monkeys include Capuchin & the larger Barbary Macaque. Each of them has its own cosmetic costume, & more pets will be added to this game & costumes as well later.

You can also buy emotes with your money. The cosmetic items can be purchased as well & you will be able to get Banjo Kazooie cosmetic which features a bear & a bird for your ship.

The Pirate Emporium & the Ancient Coins are set to be released in the form of a game update on 11 September 2019.
