The Last of Us: Part 2 has a new release date:

The Last of Us: Part 2 is pushed back to May 2020. The Last of Us: Part II is one of the most anticipated game & Naughty Dog recently announced its release date of 21 February 2020 but now the launch date is pushed back to 29 May 2020.

In a letter to fans, game director Neil Druckmann announced a new launch date. Naughty Dog needs more time to polish the game to improve quality. They had 2 options either to compromise on quality or get more time, so they chose the latter in order to complete everything to their level of satisfaction & also reduce stress on the team.

It is the longest game from Naughty Dog but we do not know about its length.

The developers spent 5 years working on The Last of Us Part II. They know that fans love its first part & both game heroes Ellie & Joel. The narrative of the second part is very emotional.

Uncharted 4 & The Last of Us can be completed in 15 hours. So it means that The Last of Us Part 2 will be lengthy than that but we do not know its exact length. The Last of Us Part 2 is PS4 exclusive.

During State of Play which commenced on 24 September 2019, a new trailer of The Last of Us Part 2 was released. You can watch The Last of Us Part II (State of Play) trailer below:

The story is a continuation of the events from the first part. The people are dying due to deadly fungus which is changing humans into creatures.

Ellie is the main protagonist of this game.

The gameplay mechanics that are taken from the first part are improved. The camera is hanging behind the player in this game. You can travel through open environments & can wipe out foes. The game includes a lot of cruel, direct confrontations, but there is an opportunity to avoid enemies if you use stealth. You can use melee weapons & also range weapons, but round is limited.

You can control only a single hero but your ally will help you in battle & can provide useful advice.
