Frostpunk is an adventure / strategy video game developed by 11bit Studios.

In order to endure in the world of Frostpunk, you will need steam engines. Frostpunk gameplay mostly focuses on survival, means it mostly lets you collect & manage resources. Strategic elements are more important because you must make tough & ambiguous choices.

The gameplay of Frostpunk includes managing the complete society. If you do something for your own good then it may have a negative effect on the rest of the community, so you have to make tough decisions & ambiguous choices, along with sacrificing some of the people so that others can endure. You need to melt the ice to water & then into steam to power steam engines.

Frostpunk Story:

Almost everyone died on the world due to a glacial period that occurred in XIX century. The people who endured the harsh climate are gathered close to big steam reactors. The objective of this game is to rule one of the cities. The game allows you to resolve moral issues.

Frostpunk Gameplay:

When the game begins, make shelter & collect food for the people. It requires making a medical post, cookhouse & a hunter’s hut. They control hope levels & your skill to control this city. Also make some tents which can provide shelter to homeless people & increase hope levels. During beginning days, it is good to provide homes for fifty percent of the complete population.

The heating region is the perfect location to construct homes for people. When the game begins, you won’t have many available buildings. You must build a workshop quickly. It will let you access a tech tree & different upgrades will be available.

Also you need to extract resources quickly from the main sources. The basic resources must be collected as soon as possible when you assign workers & they will get depleted quickly. You must unlock coal mine, sawmill & iron mine as soon as possible.

It is important to go outside the city. To be able to accomplish this task, you need certain technology & need to erect the beacon. It will let you build a scout team, which will be able to discover new areas that are outside this city. The new areas will provide more resources.

Gather wood that can be used to build tents & buildings.

Mine coal can be used as a fuel for the reactor.

Raw food is used to make food rations for survivors.

Steel is an advanced resource required to progress.
