Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition Story:
A region of icy tundra is called
Icewind Dale which is located in the northernmost reaches of the Forgotten
Realms. You will fight against an evil at that place.
Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition Gameplay:
The game focuses mostly on
battle, most of the time you will be fighting against hordes of rivals, &
make choices to progress through the game narrative. You can control movement
of a hero, engage in dialogue, battle against enemies, or perform other actions
like pickpocketing. The battle system is based on real time & the game does
not use turn based combat but you can pause the game at any time to give orders
to team mates which are carried out after you resume the game. The narrative of
Icewind Dale is divided into chapters, with a journal system containing information
about missions & other important narrative related information from NPCs.
At the start of the game you will
make a team of up to 6 heroes, either by building new heroes or importing
heroes from an earlier game. You can name a new character, & choose gender,
race, class & alignment along with other important choices. The class of a
hero will affect the alignments they can have, the weapons & battle styles
available to them & how capably they can use weapons. If you have created a
thief, then he will need assigning points to the various stealing abilities. After
building a team, then heroes can get experience points through finishing
missions & beating opponents, & can upgrade characters after they earn
lots of experience points.
