Monkey King: Hero Is Back is based on a movie of the same name. You will control a monkey, who is a hero & he will face swarms of creatures attacking a little village.

Monkey King: Hero is Back is focused on a film that turned out to be a box office hit in China. The main protagonist of this game is Monkey King & he is accompanied by Liuer, a kid who saved Monkey King & then they became best friends.

Monkey King: Hero is Back includes new episodes that are not shown in the original movie.

Monkey King: Hero Is Back Story:

Monkey King was once roaming b/w Heaven & world, but after defying the Lords & beating their army, he was cursed & locked in an ice cage.

After 500 years, creatures attack a little village & a kid escapes to the mountains to protect a baby. The boy freed monkey king from his curse. Still Monkey King cannot regain all of his powers because he was cursed by Buddha before locking. Despite he cannot use all of his powers, he still battles against the creatures to protect the children.

Like film, the game also narrates the plot of a little monk Liuer & his new friend Monkey King but the game focuses on Monkey King & lets you experience various stories & subplots not available in the film. Together they begin an adventure & the game lets you control Monkey King & use his mystical abilities to beat multiple enemies.

Monkey King: Hero is Back involves exploration & battling against enemies. The combat takes place in real time & during battle you can use various fighting abilities of the protagonist, making combos of his attacks. You can climb the bodies of giant bosses & it takes the battle to a new level.

You can discover ten fully different levels where you will enjoy fast paced action, green environments hiding secrets & boss fights.
