New content in Destiny 2: Season of Dawn:
New information is available about Destiny 2: Season of
Dawn, with a trailer that offers the sense of the narrative & a livestream
revealing more information about this game. A content calendar is available in
the livestream for upcoming season, which shows information about what we are
going to see when next season of Destiny 2 begins on 10 December 2019. An
update of the new season contains changes to Exotic Engrams, an increase to the
power cap, & Eververse store has been balanced in this patch.
The story of the new season begins right where the current
season ends.
New content in Destiny 2: Season Of Dawn includes:

Obelisk activities will be available in the upcoming season
as well as The Dawning seasonal event, Iron Banner, Empyrean Foundation, Crimson
Days seasonal event, Lantern of Osiris Seasonal Artifact, PvP Mode: Elimination,
Rusted Lands Crucible map, & Solar subclass updates will be available.
Destiny 2: The Next Chapter will be revealed on 6 June 2019:
After the release of Destiny 2: Forsaken’s Season of Opulence & the termination of the new Crown of Sorrow, Bungie would start looking into the future of Destiny 2. The Season of Opulence will start on 4 June 2019.
Bungie put a post on Twitter that they will launch the next chapter of Destiny 2 on 6 June 2019 at 10 AM PT. They did not provide any details of that reveal.
