Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles has been pushed back to summer 2020:

According to an announcement from Square Enix, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered has been pushed back to Summer 2020. The game was planned to launch in 2019. Then Square Enix revealed a new launch date of 23 January 2020 but now it has been delayed further.

The reason behind delay is to get more time to make final adjustments. The developers are well aware that fans have been waiting for it but they need cooperation of fans to make something that meets the expectations of its fans.

The game is scheduled to launch on PS4, Switch, Android & iOS. There is cross saves & cross play feature available on all platforms.

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered also includes improved graphics & audio. The original game which launched on Gamecube was a trouble to play with buddies, because it needed a Game Boy Advance link cable & system per player, but now there is an option to play this game together even across other platforms.

      Developing game is a very difficult task. Developers themselves don't know how much time it will take to complete it. Sometimes they are stuck in a specific task & they can't figure out how to solve it & spend heaps of time solving a single problem. So being a developer, it is very difficult to complete things as they have planned. That is the reason why we see so many delays in release dates.
