Larry Page & Sergey Brin wrote that they are stepping down from Alphabet CEO because there is a better way to run Alphabet, & Google & Alphabet no longer need 2 CEOs & a President.

The duo (Page & Brin) founded Google in 1998 when they were completing their Ph.D. at Stanford University in California. Over the years Google developed Google Docs, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Translate & Maps, & Google Chrome. They acquired Youtube in 2006, which is the top video sharing platform, & now they launched Google Stadia which allows players to play high quality games without the need of purchasing console. Alphabet was founded in 2015, & it offers a separate identity to Google & other units including autonomous car unit Waymo & smart cities group Sidewalk Labs.
