All free gifts available in Pokemon Sword & Shield right now:

New free Pokemon have been revealed that can be captured in Pokemon: Sword & Shield, & more will be available in the future. We have added all free gifts available in Sword & Shield right now & more gifts will be added to this post in future. Make sure you bookmark this page so you never miss out on any update.

Bottle Cap:

Get free bottle caps for a limited time. They are rare objects that can be used to Hyper Train Pokemon at the Battle Tower in Wyndon, & you can max out 1 of their base statistics. In order to claim a free bottle cap, you enter the download code using Mystery Gift until 28 February 2020.

You can get many of these Poke balls just once in the games, which mean they are very rare. In order to claim those gifts, you must input the codes using Mystery Gift:

Players of Pokemon Sword & Shield can claim 20 free Battle Points using Mystery Gift. These points are used to buy useful objects at the Battle Tower in Wyndon. To get free Battle Points, you need to choose Mystery Gift from the main menu & provide password “G1GANTAMAX” when prompted.

Gigantamax-Capable Pikachu / Eevee:

If you have save data on Nintendo Switch from Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee then you can get a free Pikachu or Eevee in Sword & Shield. The game allows you to claim the free Pokemon from the Wild Area Station roughly 2 hours into the adventure. The new Pikachu & Eevee are able to Gigantamax but they cannot evolve because they can Gigantamax.

If you buy a copy of the game by 15 January, then you will get a free Pokemon Gigantamax Meowth. There is no need to visit stores to get Gigantamax Meowth because you can claim it using Mystery Gift function from game’s menu. Meowth is unable to evolve. This gift can be claimed until 15 January by choosing Mystery Gift from the main menu & selecting the “Get via internet” option.

Free Track Suit:

From 16 – 25 November, you can get a download code for a free track suit trainer costume from participating Walmart stores across the US. To get the code, you must download & install the Pokemon Pass app on your mobile, then use the app to scan a QR code on display at the store. After you get a download code, then you must insert it in your Sword & Shield copy to download the costume.
