Darkborn is an open world survival RPG that is developed by "The Outsiders" from Sweden. In the game you will control a monster & the game is played from a first person perspective. The game is set in the early Viking era in which people share the earth with the forgotten but genius monster creatures. The game is also about letting people to express rage & unhappiness about the state of the world right now. Players play as & see the world through the eyes of those creatures. Play the game as a creature & combat against the humans who are busy in killing your race that is already on the brink of extinction.

Darkborn Gameplay:

Players play as Wight, a dangerous creature set in a Dark Age. Creature life begins as a weak child & he needs to survive & grow in strength. The humans want the complete annihilation of your race. Darkborn Story:

Darkborn is a role playing video game set in early Viking period & it is different from the rest of the role playing games as you will be controlling the monster rather than the human warriors. Humans share the planet with the remnant of a species of smart creatures. Human race is killing the last few surviving creatures. So there are intense battles between the creature & the soldiers. Darkborn sees the world from the perspective of the hunted rather than the hunter. The trailer shows sympathy for the monster especially when you are watching how soldiers are attacking his father. The game is more like Beowulf. The trailer shows that the creature at first was running away from the soldiers as they were searching for him. Darkborn is more about taking revenge.

Darkborn Development:

The development team for Darkborn "The Outsiders" is really small just over a dozen people are working on this project but still the scope of the game is huge. The development team is inspired by every day monster movies, various cultural & mythical phenomena. The small team seems to be working on a big project although there may be deficiencies in the final version of the Darkborn. Never the less it seems to be a big working effort on a project that feels amazing.
