Skate Story and Skatebird - Totally Changed Gameplay:

Skate Story is an indie skateboard video game presented from a third-person perspective. Gamer control a crystalline skater and rides through the underworld. At the beginning, the game looks easy as gamer move with skateboard and infrequently has to face barriers. Then gamer has to ollie over barriers. To steer around obstacles, gamer has to master ollies. In order to perform kick flips, ollies and various other technical tricks, gamer has to use more than one controller buttons at once. Skate Story’s is a technical skating video game compared to Skatebird. Controls in Skate Story are such that, each button on controller is for a particular body movement. The controller left-stick moves gamer’s body side-to-side, the controller right stick lets gamer to crouch and pop, and the controller A-button, lets gamer’s foot to push the skateboard. In Skate Story, executing an ollie is about gaining the momentum, then crouching and popping up by pushing the right stick down and up to produce the jump. From here, performing more difficult tricks, such as kick flip, is all-about getting the exact combo and timing.

The only difference is that in Skatebird, gamer control a small bird on a skateboard rather than a human character on a skateboard. In Skatebird, level take place across play areas of a house. Just like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remastered video game, the gameplay of Skatebird is a mix of performing skateboard tricks, exploration, and objects collection. Performing tricks in Skatebird is easy.

Which game is Better? Skate Story or Skatebird:

Both Skate Story & Skatebird have completely different story. Skate Story is set in underground & you need to escape the hell at all cost. In Skate Story, you control a skatebird who wants to show her tricks to the owner so that he accepts her again. I think if you are looking for the game which is easy on the eyes & ears then I would recommend Skatebird but if you are looking for a game where you need to go through hell & your only objective is to escape it, then Skate Story is better. Even though the story of Skate Story is a bit grim but its gameplay allows you to control a crystalline gamer which feels fresh & exciting. Skatebird also has relaxing story where you can perform a number of tricks with the skate which looks cool. Skate Story has elegant controls but looks a bit complicated than controls of Skatebird. Finally, we can conclude that if someone is interested in easy game with little to worry about then go for Skatebird or buy Skate Story if you want to experience the taste of complicated tricks.
