Dynasty Warriors 9 was the only
game since Dynasty Warriors 2 to shake up the formula. Dynasty Warriors 2 was
set in a large open world that was designed to get the scope of Three Kingdoms
China, avoiding the classic old menu series of wars to try new things further
organic & lively. Dynasty Warriors 9 is heavily inspired from the open
world of Dynasty Warriors 2, & its creators want to maintain order, drive
& interest of Dynasty Warriors 2.
The new game has watch towers
that can be climbed to see the region surrounding it, as well as a crafting
system, side missions, day / night cycle, secrets treasures, resources that
spawn randomly, asset recycling, along with a stealth system. You can fish
& enjoy this game even more due to its satisfying gameplay.
The main differences between
Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires vs Original Dynasty Warriors 9, are that the new
game has discarded the open world format & has adopted a smaller stage just
like earlier games of the series. This seems like the open world incorporates a
number of assets segmented & repurposed into a further classic stage like
approach.
Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is
focused on castle sieges, & its mechanics released in the game updates,
will play a key role in choosing the fights.
Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires’ “create
a character system” has been upgraded to Nioh 2 levels with added choices that
can be chosen from that game’s system.
An improved domestic system will
be available that will have more features. Friendships between character will
alter more frequently & they will have bigger effects on the overall game
than in previous games.
Some of the features are taken
from earlier Empires games. Such as, the Ways of Life determine whether a
character is a better leader or a cruel oppressor.
