King of Seas is similar to Sea of Thieves but there are a number of unique features too. It falls into the RPG genre. The game is set in a procedurally generated world which you can explore, & there is more you can do such as fight against enemies, sell goods, & discover treasure. 3D Cloud is the developer of King of Seas & they give lots of importance to interaction of playable characters with NPCs. Beat enemies in naval fight & use the navigation system for moving your vessel.

Blast your foes via cannons & rule the seas. The game allows you to discover lost treasure & find maps of the vast oceans.

The world of King of Seas reacts to your actions. You will have higher difficulty as you advance in the gameplay. It lets you customize your vessels, & conquer forts, & discover the expansive maps of the sea. Bomb the rival ships with cannon balls. Use your ship velocity to escape naval fights if you don’t want to engage in war or when your ship is wrecked. The skill tree of King of Seas gives players the opportunity to improve their skills. Different vessels in the game come with different steering, & weather will play a vital role in the game.

Players can see everything from a strategic perspective, & their vessel are able to fire multiple cannons at a time.

You can only play King of Seas alone because multiplayer mode is not included. There is an option to customize your ships.

When players start playing King of Seas, they won’t see the complete worlds so the game features exploration. Players can journey in the game worlds, trade with people, fish, & discover treasures.

King of Seas launches on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC & Xbox One on 18 February 2021.
