Does Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak support Cross Play or Cross Progression?
Monster Hunter Rise offers
players an opportunity to kill creatures that have wreaked havoc on the planet.
Since Monster Hunter Rise received confirmation for PC, people have been
inquiring if this & the upcoming games in the series could offer Cross Play
or Cross Progression between Nintendo Switch & PC.
Sadly, fans must wait for longer because
CAPCOM has confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise & its expansion Monster
Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will not offer Cross Play or Cross Progression between PC
& Nintendo Switch. CAPCOM tried to add Cross Play or Cross Save due to fans’
request, but sadly, these features did not work in Monster Hunter Rise, &
its expansion Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak.
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is
an expansion of the game, & it will lack Cross Play or Cross Save support
between PC & Nintendo Switch. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is set to be
released in summer 2022.
Players of Nintendo Switch &
PC will not be able to play together or share their progress as Monster Hunter
Rise: Sunbreak does not support Cross Play or Cross Save. Monster Hunter Rise:
Sunbreak is a DLC of Monster Hunter Rise & it too does not provide Cross
Play or Cross Progression. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is set to be launched
on Nintendo Switch in summer 2022.
CAPCOM tried its best to add
Cross Play or Cross Progression in Monster Hunter Rise but could not implement
it. If fans have already purchased the Nintendo Switch version of Monster
Hunter Rise, then they would not be able to send their progress to the PC or
play with their friends who own the PC version of the game. PC users cannot
play Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion, which is coming this summer on
Nintendo Switch.
Monster Hunter Rise is already
available on PC & Nintendo Switch. However, Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is
only slated to release on Nintendo Switch this summer.
