Pillars of Eternity II Review:

The sequel to award winning RPG Pillars of Eternity was released on 8th May, 2018. The game is set on archipelago region of the Deadfire which you can explore, but the surroundings are full of dangers. At the start, customize your player, then explore with complete freedom & you can make choices that will shape the world around you. Decisions taken at accurate time are more meaningful.

Explore a new map & cross sea in your ship & reach the rich & dangerous islands of the Deadfire region. You can interact with the occupants living on those islands & complete a variety of missions that will be assigned to you one after another in story campaign.

Make your team & you can also customize every character in your group. You can have 7 teammates to join you in your mission & you can assign unique skills & multiple classes for each. Also watch their relationships & interactions.

Play as a captain of the ship sailing across the oceans. Choose from many ship upgrades & also improve crew abilities so that they can beat hard opponents & face incoming challenges.

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Expansions Packs (DLCs):

The DLCs add new missions, new maps to explore, new secrets to reveal, new teammates will join you in adventure & also face new challenges.

The first expansion pack “Beast of Winter” will take your group to an island where you will reveal an ancient secret. Start your escapade in “The Beyond” a mysterious dimension where ancient souls live & face devilish challenges.

The second expansion pack “Seeker, Slayer, Survivor” is a battle focused DLC set on a previously unexplored island that will test the fighting ability of your team & how you captain your crew will matter a lot. Start your adventure to recover ancient relics, & pit your group against Eora’s most skilled & savage enemies.

The third & final expansion pack “The Forgotten Sanctum” will challenge your team’s loyalty & morality in a mission to help the great wizards of Eora. It is up to you, whether you use friendship, the art of deception or confuse these venerable mystics as you disclose past secrets. Face challenges across the Deadfire Archipelago based upon the choices you made.

All downloadable content is also added as part of the Obsidian Edition. A Season Pass adding all expansion packs is available.

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire is a role playing video game playable from an isometric perspective. Experience a dynamic weather, breathing world which allows every person to complete their work on daily basis. Companion relationships are more important in this game. Along with companions, there are helpers that can also travel with you. Use customizable ships that can be used for travelling & the game also includes naval battles. Buy or steal new boats. Hire crews to protect your ship.

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire is set in the world of Eora. You play as a Watcher, a hero with the skill to read other person’s mind. Eothas, the god of light & rebirth who was believed to be dead, rises under the protagonist’s stronghold. Eothas almost eliminates you & destroys your stronghold. Now travel to Deadfire Archipelago to chase Eothas & search for answers. Your choices in original Pillars of Eternity will shape the gameplay & story of the second part as well.
