Titan Quest Remastered Review, Gameplay, Story, Maps, Improvements, Release date, Collectors Edition, Price & More:
We have added everything we know
about Titan Quest including its review, story, gameplay, improvements, maps,
release date, collectors edition, launch price & you can find more information in this article.
The remaster Titan Quest has some
features including a very lengthy story campaign, six players co-op mode & unlockable
difficulty levels.
Titan Quest has a very long
adventure & it takes around 40 hours to end this game but there is not much
change in its action RPG counterparts.
Titan Quest Remastered Gameplay:
Titan Quest is divided in three
areas including Greece, Egypt & China & after you complete quests in
all three maps, you will finally become hero / heroine of the day. Your time is
divided equally because you will spend 12-15 hours during your missions in
Greece. The area is divided into large & small dungeons & also the
terrain is largely wilderness surrounded by mountains & water. There is
enough space for exploration. The area is divided into checkpoint that will
take you to the next location. You can save the game anywhere that saves your
inventory & stats.
Your character is not categorized
in a class until level II & then you can choose any class type but their
benefits & drawbacks are not well explained in the game. You can replay the
game with a different class & enjoy a different game’s style which is not
good but the randomization of monsters or landscape will let you enjoy multiple
escapades.
Titan Quest has not many
dungeons with multiple levels but the difficulty level is not that high. Titan
Quest is more about loot & the sense of the looting system is under high
examination & the game does not follow the familiar way. Even when you have
half completed TQ & defeating level 30-ish creatures, they will drop the
same loot as you got from the first beasts that you killed back in the Greece. You
can sell your precious items that you collected. You can also purchase something
from merchants. You can purchase potions & other health regeneration items from
merchants as the health refills very slow in TQ.
The voice acting is done really
well in Titan Quest. If you want to purchase Titan Quest then my recommendation
is to get the demo first & if it is fun then you will like TQ as well. The
game is pretty much interesting & there is much content to keep you hooked
for weeks & there are probably worse games than Titan Quest that are coming
out of new development companies.
Titan Quest Remastered Story:
The game is about exploration
which gives you a chance to unlock arcane mysteries as you take a trip to
famous areas. Fight against mythical creatures in a story driven adventure that
will define the fortune of everyone. You can create & customize your hero
& choose from twenty classes & over thousand unique & famous items
to build the final champ. Challenge others to experience the story driven
gameplay with up to 6 players in a co-op multiplayer mode. The min save size of
Titan Quest in 10 GB. When you think about releasing an old PC game like TQ on
updated consoles, you will probably think it is quite easy but in reality as
technologies & fans expectation have shifted over time, the developers will
have to make big effort to create something satisfactory.
Changing the controller to the Dualshock 4:
One of the main things that the
developers changed was the controller & they chose DualShock 4 controller
used for PS4. Changing the input system was a hard step though as they tested Titan
Quest multiple times on this new input system before they figured out that
everything works perfect on gamepads.
New Navigation System:
The next thing was to change the
navigation system of Titan Quest & they ensured that it worked fine on the
PS4 controller.
User Interface:
They further targeted an even
bigger area known as user interface. When you handle a game that was originally
designed to be controlled using keyboard & mouse, your mental preparation
comes into play when you begin the same game with gamepads. The developers
tested it & took a critical look at what they had from the original &
they made sure they move forward with two thoughts in mind. The first one was
how to keep the usability of the original? & the second thing that came in
their mind was how gamer’s behavior & expectation have shifted in a decade?
New Features:
We have also mentioned below a bunch
of new features into the UI & the HUD.
A new loot window is added that
make sure the player can watch everything he is looting because the game is not
controlled using a mouse which can hover finely on those pixels, selecting the
object & then click it to loot. A better step but players nowadays will
want some direct info. on what they are picking from the ground too.
A new game will highlight what
the player is focusing on & the game usability is upgraded to address this
issue which highlights the item for player. The developers went one step
further for readability & accessibility & revised everything precisely
for PS4. The game was originally designed for PC screens but the developers refined
the graphics so that it fits well on 37 to 43 inches TV screens.
Refined Graphics:
The developers improved the
quality of the textures & worked on the streaming system for performance.
They also worked on the gameplay system features wherever required.
One of the hardship was to expand
the same approach to fighting. Now there is no mouse cursor to actually fight
rivals. The developers added a new feature known as target cone system which
allows player to better focus his attention on item interactions & fighting.
The graphics of the Titan Quest
was upgraded to modernize it so improved shadows & anti-aliasing was
implemented to make sure that the visual richness of TQ was precisely shifted
to bigger screens to maintain high quality result.
Using keyboard when you press a
shortcut key, it pops up something. This was required as player have limited
gamepad buttons so to address this issue they developed a quick slot system. A
radial support menu was added in the game where required & they redesigned
the user interface elements around them.
Another feature is a skill
assignment feature which is added in the midst along with some options to make
user experience more modern & accessible.
