Battery Jam allows you to smash your opponents, grab their tiles & control the arena. You can select 1 of 4 Jammers & fight to get the most tiles at the conclusion of every match. Team up with your buddies or play solo in Free-for-All or Team mode. Battle across a constantly shifting arena as you take or protect tiles.

Battery Jam Story:

Battery Jam is an arcade video game which does not have any story. The game does not offer any story campaign. There are four characters (Turbo, Slug, Rocket & Love) & you can choose one character to begin.

Battery Jam Gameplay:

You can learn the basic gameplay easily: you can move around a tile map & paint every tile in your path. Others are also painting the tiles. Like you, 3 other characters are doing the same & at the end of time the player who paints more tiles wins.

You can lift tiles to block paths, fall into a lava pit or you can even sunk tiles or throw block in any direction. When you make mistake for example if you fall into lava then the game will force you to wait for some time before you can continue your gameplay.

The game allows you to paint the tiles with your selected color & beat the opponents. You can dodge oncoming attacks & paint most of the tiles in order to win. Battery Jam is inspired by Splatoon.


You can throw boomboxes at your opponents & claim tiles across eight different levels & there are multiple modes to play.

You can compete against computer or fight against your buddies in local multiplayer. You can buy Battery Jam on Nintendo Switch on 22 November, 2018.

The Verdict:

Battery Jam features fun & challenging gameplay with clean & vibrant graphics & audio. However, it does not offer online gameplay. There is no progression or reward system & no character customization option.
