Darq Story:

The game is about a boy named Lloyd who knows he is dreaming. Boy’s dream soon become nightmare & he cannot wakeup. Lloyd explores the darkest places of his subconscious mind while learning how to survive the nightmare that has made his life miserable.

Darq Gameplay:

Player has to solve gravity-defying puzzles. Other important aspect of the game is to use stealth against adversaries & to avoid detection. Player cannot win an open confrontation against creatures.

Game strategy:

Some creatures are afraid of light while others are attracted to it. So, every opponent needs a different strategy to be dealt with. Player has to know when to switch the flashlight on & off.

Creatures in the game are powerful, faster, have good hearing abilities & also have a good sight. During sneaking, player has to switch the flashlight off & has to listen closely to the creature’s sounds. Faster breathing shows creature is more alert, that means player can be detected easily with a slight mistake.

Darq Features:

Player has to solve puzzles such as walking on walls & ceilings, moving things, rotating rooms, gathering items that are found & using those items while avoiding creatures.

The game features randomly generated elements such as opponent spawn locations, as no walkthrough is the same in this game. Player can experience that some details have changed, or the entire room is replaced with a new room.

Based on player’s choices, the game can have multiple endings.
