Pix The Cat Review:

You have to collect ducklings while ensuring not to crash into obstacles. Also collect items. In the game, you have to develop a strategy in collecting items or the game can be quite challenging.


Pix The Cat Story:

Take control of a cat named Pix. Your role in the game is to rescue ducklings in a maze-like surroundings.

Pix The Cat Gameplay:

Pix The Cat combines gameplay mechanics of Snake & Pac-Man.

You can start playing the game as a cat named Pix. During gameplay Pix can absorb eggs, which changes it into a duck following a cat & it looks similar to Snake game because Pix is now longer than before. The levels of the game are designed like 2D labyrinths similar to Pac Man. Your objective is to lead the ducks to the mentioned regions, moving the character in such a way that the cat does not accidentally hits the end of its tail. You can complete this objective in installments, gathering the ducklings 1 by 1 but if you are looking to achieve the best score then take them to the indicated place at the same time. The game will offer you a bonus for quick movement.



As Pix The Cat advances, the difficulty rises, & different traps & adversaries will show up to make things difficult. You can unlock different bonuses during gameplay.

In laboratory mode you can maneuver like a battery, gathering sleeping smileys spread on the board & deliver them to indicated places. But you are only allowed to move from wall to wall & you need to fit in the max. number of moves which can make this objective tough.

Nostalgia mode is a little different than Arcade mode. At each level, you will have a predetermined length of tail & it is allowed to reach up to 99 ducks.

Pix The Cat is released on Nintendo Switch on 8 August 2019. It is also available on PC, PS4, PS Vita & Xbox One.
