Atlas Review:

Atlas is a massively multiplayer online video game which lets up to 40,000 gamers to play it on one big map. The game lets you discover a big planet. You can construct forts & ships, overcome lands, & join companies. Atlas supports both first person & third person view.

Atlas begins with developing your hero, using many options provided. The game can begin with hiring new members, gathering resources, & building the first ship. You can initially control a small land & then battle for influence with other pirate squads, loot their treasure & overtake fortresses. Atlas allows you to beat monsters with bare hands, also there are many unlockable abilities, along with weapons which can be used to eliminate creatures.

Atlas Gameplay:

Know the hero needs. You can see a bar at the lower right corner of the screen which show needs. See the info. regarding thirst & hunger, health bar, weight limit, along with hero stamina. Check out all of the needs & do not let hunger, thirst & health to reach zero mark.

Do not attack beasts if you do not have good weapons. Before you start eliminating beasts, make sure you build the best armor & have equipped spear.

If you attack a wildlife which belongs to herd, then it is possible that other members of the herd can attack you. Animals marked with alpha are difficult to beat. They are stronger as compared to normal beasts. Slaying those foes is risky & time consuming, but eliminating one of them will progress hero by several levels.

Tools will be required to complete tasks. You can strike trees with bare hands but it will cause your character to lose health with every strike. It is very important to make basic tools.

If you use tools repeatedly then it will affect them. Tools have a health bar as well. Once it is emptied, some of the weapons will break & will not be available in your inventory anymore while others can’t be used. However, you can repair most of the objects.

Monitor your ship & repair it when it gets damage. Also make sure you do not overload your ship because it will sink.

Overeating will let your character lose health points. When you consume too much of a given vitamin then it is a problem too. When you eat many fruits then it will cause the screen to be tinted in green, which will limit your visibility & will affect navigation. You can check vitamin bars at the bottom right corner of the screen.
