Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Review:
Xenoblade
Chronicles 2 allows you to control a main hero out of an overall group of 3.
The gameplay employs an open world surroundings, with freedom of navigating
freely the interconnected environments. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 features a
day/night cycle, with the time of day often affecting in game events.
Xenoblade
Chronicles 2 lets you quick travel to any major location. Quick travelling
makes it easy for you to move from one big location to another.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 gameplay is similar to its first part with freedom to discover the planet of Alrest, the skill to run to nearly everyplace seen in the distance & the art combat system returns in this game which includes both auto attacks & a cool down timer for every art. The playable heroes are known as Drivers in this game & they are aided by armored life forms known as Blades, which determines their equipped blades & available arts. Blades are characters & they cannot be controlled in a direct way.

In
Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Blades are artificial lifeforms that bond with Drivers
to lend them their weapons and powers in fight. Rex, the main character, is a
Driver while his companion Pyra is a Blade.
Blades
have a large array of support skills in & out of fight. While exploring,
these skills can increase the number of goods that can be picked up, unlock new
paths & perform other special effects. When players fight alongside a
Blade, they might trigger effects that save the Driver, strengthen attacks
& other useful actions.
Skills
will vary from Blade to Blade, so choosing different Blades during combats will
add a strategy element to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 game experience.
While
you travel through Xenoblade Chronicles 2, players will come across animals. They will beat certain strange monsters, & it will
let players to relive those fights for extra plunder.
You
will also step into shining spots known as Collection Points which offer an
opportunity to collect precious items or dive under the clouds to recover
chests.
The
problem with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is it fails to properly guide you, with tutorials
that introduces cascading mechanics & terminology that is easy to mix up. Player’s
auto attack fuel a meter that is attached to skills called arts, arts fills up
one more meter for special attacks, special attacks are chained from one player
to another to build up a blade combo which are used to seal away certain rivals
skills, & team chain attack depends on a meter that is utilized to revive
damaged squad member – can break these seals to build up an elemental power that deals heavy damage, which extends the chain attack for an additional
round. You need to take screen shots of tutorials otherwise if you missed them
once, the information is lost.
