Power Rangers Mega Battle is a 2D side scrolling arcade video game developed by Bandai Namco Games. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was released on 17 January, 2018 on PC Windows, Xbox One & PS4.

You can upgrade your soldiers, make squad, eliminate the bosses & battle your way through levels stylized after classic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers episodes.

Saban's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle Story:

A series of mysterious towers have been placed all around Angel Grove, forcing 5 people to spring into action. Zordan provide them powers later & they become the Power Rangers. During the story campaign, the Power Rangers save another guy named Tommy. The civilian becomes their friend.

You can choose your Ranger then you will battle your way through various creatures. When you reach the Boss, you can fight them at full size, after which the Megazord Battle begins. The Megazord Battle is split into 2 parts. Part 1 allow you to take control over the Megazord Tank Mode & shoot at enemy’s weak points & oncoming attacks. After the Megazord health bar depletes for the first time, the Megazord will transform into Battle Mode & it will continue like normal gameplay with fast time events to deal damage.

Saban's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle Gameplay:

The game offers a creative & modern re-imaging of the classic multiplayer beat-em up video game. Make a squad & upgrade your soldiers, change into Megazord & battle your way through levels. The characters use weapons & martial arts in combat. You can use light, heavy weapons & use projectile attacks to beat your enemies. The characters can also integrate weapon strike into different combo strings. The game offers you an opportunity to level up & unlock new moves, attacks & weapons. The levels are based on the classic episode from the TV series. They are filled with familiar background details, dialogue, cutscenes & rivals pulled from the first two seasons of TV show.

Power Rangers will make you love giant robots & characters that battle enemies with special suits. The original game was a beat-em up video game where you can play as the main characters & their Megazord form.

You can begin the game after choosing your favorite hero in normal outfit. When you build up enough energy, you can change into Ranger. When you transform into Ranger form then your health will be completely restored & you can survive longer than before. You can combine martial arts with Ranger’s signature weapon along with getting access to the Power Blaster & new combos when you upgrade.

When you face rivals they will tend to walk around for a bit before they attack you instead of attacking more frequently. Even the hard enemies take some time before striking you. These encounters felt more boring when you are fighting rivals that take their time to attack. These bosses can only be damaged after they end their lengthy attack pattern.

Each big fight begins with the signature robot in Tank Mode, this form was rarely used in the series & you have to aim & shoot at the monster’s weak points & projectiles. The battle then turns into a series of quick timed events where you are required to mash different button combination to attack the rival in your completely combined form. At first, it was good to watch the squad’s colossal machine use its moves, lasers & Power Sword against its rival, however, soon the system starts to feel boring due to its lack of variety.

Saban's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle DLC:

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle come with DLC in the form of Adam, Rocky, Kat, Aisha, Ranger Tommy & a different look for Billy. This set is only a bunch of extra skins & playable characters.
