Ark Extinction lets you face hardships & the game can be enjoyed in multiple ways. Extinction is the third DLC for Ark: Survival Evolved.


The DLC Extinction is added to Explorer’s Pack & the Season Pass. You can buy Extinction as a standalone expansion & upgrade.

Ark Extinction Story:

Ark Extinction is set on a wasted world with fantastical monsters both organic & technological. Earth holds the secrets of the past & the keys to its salvation. You have crossed the hardships & now your final goal is to beat the huge Titans which rule the planet, & finish the Ark cycle to protect Earth’s future.

Ark Extinction Gameplay:

The roaming Titans are ruling Earth; a world that has been infested by Elements & filled with both organic & technological beasts.

Our world is not in a state that we recognize because the Extinction is set in either Earth’s past or its future.

There are multiple dinosaurs that you can watch in Extinction. The first kind of dinosaur is enforcer that can climb walls, & can make small jumps via teleportation. You can ride it.

Titan is another kind of dinosaur which is also known as miniboss. It means that there is even bigger dinosaur available in Extinction & it will be the boss. You can also tame Titan.

Gasbag is a kind of dinosaur that can puff itself up to 3 times its size & then fly in the air like a leaky balloon. You can load item in Gasbag inventory & send it to your base.

The dinosaurs can help you out in your journey.

Managarmr is a kind of dinosaur that is capable of jumping great distances through the air.

Velonasaur can powerfully eject spines from its face to save you from dangers.

You will face dangerous dinosaurs. There are areas on this world where you find dangerous elements & that danger has spread to some dinosaurs.

The game will use a new feature known as cryochamber that can freeze dinosaurs into ice cube form & then you can carry them in your pocket. This is the simplest way to transport dinosaurs & you won’t need to feed them because they will be in frozen state.  

You can fly drones that are known as scouts in Extinction. You can see through the scout’s camera using special binoculars as you send scouts out for recon. You can tag rivals & discover the world without getting in trouble.

Extinction includes new & returning biomes.

Ark Extinction Release Date:

Extinction is released on 6 November, 2018 for PC & later it is released on 13 November, 2018 for PS4 & Xbox One.
