Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is a third person, action-adventure & survival video game set in the early years of mankind’s evolution.

You have to explore, expand, & evolve in order to advance your tribe to the next generation in the harsh, yet stunning Africa. This game brings a new twist to the survival genre.

You take role in many generations of mankind ancestry from the early apes to the nearest & earliest relative of human beings.

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Story:

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is set in the continent of Africa, some 10 million years ago. Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey tells the story of a colony of apes who interact with their surroundings. It is an open world survival game which lets you discover the hardships faced by mankind ancestor’s in their early years.



Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Gameplay:

It is a third person survival adventure video game. Mankind is one step away from the next level of evolution. This game will let you discover the era of apes, & how they evolved & survived in early period. It is about exploring world, discovering & using items, & developing clan. You can play as a monkey, you will evolve & as time passes you will start transforming into a human. Also you need to fight against other clans for survival.

This game only offers a single player story campaign.

It is a survival game playable from third person view. You will control a monkey clan & manage your health by drinking, eating & sleeping. Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is set in the jungle of Africa, where you will face dangers including big birds & toxic plants. You can climb tree & if it falls down then it will hurt you. While progressing through the gameplay, you will explore new areas. When you discover new locations or you are hunted by creatures, you will enter a state of fear & you can leave such state by finding glowing orbs of light. You can use ape senses to hear sounds which include sound of enemy, or a lost clan member. Someone from the outside can join your clan. As apes evolve, they become intelligent & have new abilities such as making bed using leaves, & also medical plants can be used for healing. If you die during gameplay, then you will control another member of the clan. If all of the clan members die, then you will have to play the game again from start.

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is an open world survival single player video game from the creator of AC. Patrice Desilets who created AC was fired from Ubisoft & he started his new studio Panache Digital Games & Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is the studio’s debut project.
